I’m a writer living in the Midwestern United States. I write help and training documents, including user manuals, online help systems and computer based training modules. My aspiration is to be a (successful!) published fantasy and/or science fiction author.
I started out as a broadcaster, working as a journalist and on-air personality for seven years in as many States. I left journalism because I found myself wanting horrible things to happen to people because it would parley into better ratings. After I left broadcasting, I ended up working at a performance improvement company, booking travel for award winners while finishing a Communications degree. After that, I worked at a biotechnology company, then on to pharmaceuticals.
When I’m not working I keep writing. For now that means reviews for this site. I also do some editing for my friends who blog and for Mozilla (the Firefox people). And I really love to read.
